This piece was selected for NCECA's 2018 "Visual Voices: Truth Narratives" exhibit in Pittsburgh, PA, juried by Winnie Owens-Hart. The following video was created in response to four questions the selected artists were asked regarding the work we had created for the show.
"Crying Out Loud: Seeing Red, Feeling Blue" brings into consideration the myriad challenges facing our society, in particular future generations, given our current political direction. We are all fettered by the choices being made regarding racial and gender intolerance, rights and freedoms, the wall, the environment, war, education, health care reform and racial superiority.
